Responsible for originating, evaluating, and executing middle market leveraged buyouts and preferred equity investment opportunities. In this role, I perform transaction modeling and evaluation of prospective managed/IT services and business services investments. For active investment opportunities, I manage due diligence, financial modeling, preparation of investor materials and transaction/closing documentation.

Responsible for deal sourcing, transaction evaluation, financial analysis, structuring and fundraising, legal documentation, and transaction execution to support private equity investments in the middle market IT services and business services sectors. Collaborated with senior management of portfolio companies on sourcing and evaluating add-on acquisitions, debt and equity financing, operational monitoring, financial reporting and general corporate consulting. Sale of Venture Technologies to ConvergeOne: Coordinated flow of information between internal stakeholders, portfolio company management, sell side advisors and prospective investors to secure successful portfolio company exit after growing EBITDA approximately 20x. Liaised with sell-side investment bankers to produce detailed financial model, CIM, due diligence materials, business updates, legal documentation, and closing logistics including working capital analysis and flow of funds.

FlatWorld Capital

Collaborated with firm leadership and portfolio company management on strategic planning, financing and acquisitions. Worked directly with portfolio company CFO on monitoring, financial reporting, covenant compliance, audits and budgeting.

MidRail LLC

Assisted with Partners' side project to develop a freight rail investment company focused on originating, acquiring, consolidating, and developing integrated rail assets and operations across North America. Primarily responsible for M&A functions including: deal sourcing, transaction evaluation, financial analysis, structuring and fundraising, legal documentation, and transaction execution to support railroad and adjacent rail services investments. Managed and mentored a team of three junior analysts in this role.

FlatWorld Capital

Primarily responsible for conducting acquisition due diligence, financial modeling, transaction execution and portfolio company monitoring. Closed acquisition/dividend recap of Venture Technologies and a total of four add-on acquisitions. Facilitated due diligence of multiple target companies and synthesized into financial model and investor presentation. Supported senior Partner on investor outreach, investor due diligence, legal documentation, and closing logistics.

FlatWorld Capital

Invited to return to the firm following college graduation. Supported deal team by preparing valuation analyses, financial models, industry research and comparable company analyses. As member of SPAC sponsor team, supported all aspects of a successful SPAC IPO including collaborating with internal team members and underwriters on IPO financial model, prospectus drafting, and investor road show materials. Following the IPO, I managed external accountant and auditor relationships to complete periodic public company reporting and EDGAR filings.
