- Led the Finance & Data function of wefox Insurance AG including all of its international branches (12 FTE team) under local GAAP (VersAV, PGR, OR) and supporting the consolidated IFRS-Reporting of wefox Group (e.g. IFRS 4/17) - Leading external Audits (PwC) and the regulatory reporting to FMA - Initiated a restructuring project and defined key measures to enable a transformation from a topline driven enterprise to break-even - Strengthened the Risk Management (e.g. capital & cashflow planning process) to facilitate the transformation process and identify potential risks - Improved the adequacy of budgeting & forecasting process together with the Actuarial department - Identification of key drivers for the success of the transformation by modeling scenarios in different business areas and product portfolios - Implementation of an optimized capital structure under Solvency II to optimize the capital efficiency as well as the overall financial performance of the company - Development of an investment strategy to balance the interest rate risk

- Leading the Accounting, Finops & Treasury (partially) function of wefox Insurance AG including all of its international branches, wefox Holding AG & other entities of the wefox Group (9 FTE team) under local GAAP (VersAV, PGR, OR) and supporting the consolidated IFRS-Reporting of wefox Group (e.g. IFRS 4/17) - Leading external Audits (PwC) and the local statutory regulatory reporting to FMA - Strengthened the ICS within the Accounting function and supporting the Risk function during the implementation in other functions - Supporting the global budgeting & forecasting process and the portfolio & OPEX controlling - Further development of the closing of all technical accounts to an entirely SQL-driven and highly automated process, enabling a monthly closing within 1-4 working days - Implementation of Agile as operating principle within the team (KANBAN) reduced errors by having standardized and well-documented processes and increased overall productivity of team (less communication through standardized alignment meetings)

- Supported the kick-start of wefox Insurance AG (initially ONE Insurance AG), designed the Accounting function in a newly founded Insurance risk-carrier (systems, processes, ICS, etc.) and built-up a team of 4 FTE - Leading monthly & quarterly closings, supporting the CFO on the external Audit under local GAAP (VersAV & PGR) - Development of a highly automated and scalable payment process (premium, claims, etc.) by integrating a payment gateway into the first domain of the newly created wefox insurance platform - Development of partially automated monthly closing process - Development of an SQL-based reporting data model with MGA´s enabling seamless reporting
