Fritz

Energy & Resources Expert | Strategy, M&A & corporate venturing for global investors and management teams

Auckland, New Zealand

I have over 15 years of experience in the clean energy, agri-tech, clean infrastructure, and resources sectors - as an engineer, strategy consultant, and corporate finance and deals specialist. I am the Head of Corporate Finance at Beca, one of Asia-Pacific’s largest employee-owned professional services consultancy firms. As Head of Corporate Finance, I support the CFO and CEO with strategic growth initiatives and capital allocation, develop financial models, help execute M&A opportunities, and support broader corporate venturing efforts. With a keen eye for opportunities and a passion for driving growth, I lead initiatives that shape and elevate business trajectories. My professional journey has seen me work as a corporate venture builder for JSE and LSE-listed corporates, global investment banks such as Barclays, and as a financial and commercial advisor for Climate Tech VCs. However, my deep-rooted passion for the energy transition and the urgent need to accelerate investments that will help rebalance the planet and build a climate-resilient future truly drives me. Previously, I worked as a strategy and management consultant and deal advisory professional at the Big4 advisory firms in Africa, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as as an engineer for global engineering consulting firms. I advised private and public companies on their growth and capital agenda and supported them with strategic insights, M&A, financial modelling, and valuation analysis. My sector experience spans various industries, including Renewable Energy, Oil and Gas, Power and Utilities, Infrastructure, Mining, Critical Minerals, and Agriculture. This breadth of experience has equipped me with a unique perspective and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in these sectors. Through its Global Talent Visa scheme, the Australian Government has recognised me as a Global Talent in the clean energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors. I am eligible to work across Africa, New Zealand and Australia.
