Private Equity Associate – Support on Minority Investment in B2B Distributor Overview ⸻ We’re actively diligencing a minority investment in a multi-billion-dollar B2B distributor. This is the first deal under a new private equity strategy we’re executing, focused on the broader B2B wholesale distribution sector in the U.S. market. We’re seeking part-time support from an experienced PE associate to assist our internal team across diligence and execution. Scope of Work ⸻ You will collaborate directly with our team to support: • Financial and operational due diligence • Building and refining the deal model • Drafting investment materials (e.g., memos, internal presentations) • Synthesizing market and competitive insights • Light coordination with external stakeholders (e.g., advisors, management) Ideal Candidate ⸻ We’re looking for a self-sufficient, highly capable PE professional who has: • 1–2+ years of private equity experience at the associate level or higher • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills • Experience in the wholesale distribution industry • Background at firms like CD&R, Kelso, Platinum Equity, or others with distributor-heavy portfolios • Ability to work independently with 15–20 hours/week availability • Strong communication skills and experience operating in a remote team environment • Previous exposure to minority investments or growth equity is a plus Logistics ⸻ Engagement Start: Immediate Time Commitment: 15–20 hours/week Initial Duration: 4–6 weeks (with potential to extend) Location: Remote Rate: Flexible, depending on experience
