◼️ Line management responsibility for 6 Finance Managers performing financial reporting, planning and analysis for 5 separate business units within MultiChoice Nigeria. ◼️ Act as Senior Management Accountant to monitor and report internal project / cost centres performance and support scenario building exercises such as competitor analysis, customer behaviour, break-even analysis or evaluating commercial viability of promotional campaigns. ◼️ Project managed annual budget and forecasting processes, reviewed month-end results with GM Finance and collaborated on projects including: finding solutions to trapped cash; transfer pricing agreements; consumer protection council (CPC) orders; SAP inventory, billing system and CRM implementation; and MT940 treasury reporting. ◼️ Achievements include: change agent for financial transformation process as part of a company-wide business re-engineering process called ‘FutureFit’; improving governance (revising and updating policies, procedures and internal controls); and implementing improvements to the budgeting process.
