Primary role involves evaluation of new investment opportunities, proposing suitable investments to the internal committees, deal execution, closing and portfolio management.In my role at Eversource, I have been involved in the investment and portfolio management of Radiance Renewables. Radiance has 200 MW of distributed C&I solar projects in India and looking to scale to ~1.5 GW in the next 3 years.I am also actively tracking the electric mobility space and had the opportunity to be involved in the investment and portfolio management of GreenCell Mobility - one of India's first mover in electric buses space. GreenCell is currently rolling out 750 e-buses in different parts of the country.

Part of the Coverage team which is responsible for end-to-end execution and origination of M&A and PE/VC transactions and Sector side coverage of IPOs/QIPsSpecific responsibilities include:Preparation of pitch books for deal origination. This involves a deep down analysis of industry, market mapping and company-specific analysis including valuation, etc.Preparation of Information memorandum and financial model once the client is on board. Understanding client specific requirement and approaching the potential investors.Active involvement at every stage of a transaction (Visits, meetings, bilateral discussion, commercial negotiations, transaction structuring,etc.).Also responsible for Lead Generation by tracking down a sector and identifying companies which could be potential clients. Reaching out to such identified companies and ensuring to get an opportunity to pitch.
